Park Tips

* Purchase "PARK HOPPERS" (also known as Magic Your Way). Do NOT purchase tickets at the gate; you will pay through the nose. Visit the TICKETS section for more details.

* Always arrive early no matter what park you do first. Don't miss the route section in each park detail for the best attractions.

* On most days there is one park that will open early or stay open late for "EXTRA MAGIC HOURS". Visit each Parks page for a detailed list of attractions included in this. This is for resort guests only. If you are staying on Disney property make sure to check with the information desk for details or go to the RESORTS section of MollyMouse.

* Every park is unique - with unique shows. Every park will be different in the closing times, show times, parade times, etc. Make sure to pick up a "TIMES GUIDE & NEW INFORMATION" at the entrance of a park. Psst.... if you forget when you are entering a park (because you are so excited to be there) then stop by any gift shop and next to the registers they will have a map and times guide.

* The "INFORMATION BOARD" is a valuable resource when you enter the park. Most people fly by it and never look at it. Inside each park it is located in a different place. It will tell you if a ride is operating, the wait time and character greeting times. Visit the each PARKS page to find out where the Information Board is located in each park.

* Make sure to become famaliar with the "FASTPASS" system. This is a real time saver but can be a real bummer if you don't utilize it properly. Visit the each PARKS page to find out which rides you can get a Fastpass for. For detailed instructions and tips on using the "fastpass" system visit the Mollaneous page.

* "WHAT TO BRING" inside the park. They examine each bag, however, I have yet to be told I could not bring in certain items. What I normally bring into the park is a water bottle and snack type foods.

* Make sure to bring your own "RAIN PONCHO". This will save you some money. You can buy ponchos at any store in the parks but they are pretty expensive. Pack them along with you in your bag and you will be set. If you have little children it can be helpful to buy different colored ponchos than the ones they sell at the parks (they are usually clear and yellow). This way if you get separated in a sea of yellow and clear ponchos you will be easily identified by your colorful ponchos.

* The "PHOTOPASS" - this is a great thing to utilize. Have the professionals take your pictures. They are really good at it and it is free. They keep them all organized on a handy card. Just give your photopass card to the photographer and he will take it from there. At the end of your vacation you will have a nice collection of souvenir photos to choose from.
